Michele Bielawski

Michele Bielawski, age 54, of Erie, MI, formerly of Toledo, passed away peacefully Sunday, November 30, 2008 at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center. She was born on October 4, 1954 to Preston and Mary (Tulak) Lajiness in Toledo. Michele liked horse racing and was employed at Raceway Park for many years. She enjoyed sewing, cooking and reading in her spare time. Michele often loved spending time with her granddog Louie and she loved nothing more than spending time with her children and family. Michele will be deeply missed by all of those who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents. Michele is survived by her significant other of 17 years, Gary Roe; children, Amber (Dan) Davis, Ronald (Kristy) Bielawski and James "J.P." Bearringer; grandchildren, Kylie and Louie; sisters, Denise (Mike) Davis, Elise (Bill) Schlenker and Lilli (Rudy) Walls; brother, Preston Lajiness; sister-in-law, Carolyn Lajiness; and many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

The family will receive guests Saturday from 1:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. at St. Clement Catholic Church, 3030 Tremainsville Rd. with a Memorial Mass of Resurrection beginning at 2:30 p.m. Officiating will be Fr. Michael O. Brown.

In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make monetary donations are asked to consider a charity of the donor's choice.
