Michael D. "Big Daddy" Stacy, age 65, lifetime resident of Point Place, passed away peacefully Saturday, February 24, 2018 at the Toledo Hospital with his loving family by his side. He was born May 27, 1952 to Belford and Helen (Baker) Stacy in Toledo. Mike was the owner/operator of MD Automotive Machine Shop and was a machinist for many years. He was a classic car enthusiast and enjoyed attending car shows. Mike enjoyed camping with his family and sitting on his porch watching the sunset and boats go by. He liked going to the casino but most of all loved the time spent with his grandchildren. Mike was a dedicated husband to his wife and family.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Gladys Falbo, Patricia Stacy, James Stacy, and Richard Stacy; father-in-law, Richard Kurth; and sister-in-law, Tammy Gust. Mike is survived by his loving wife of almost 40 years, Tina Stacy; children, Jason (Amy) Stacy, Jessica (Andrew) Schwab, Jenny Stacy and Jacob (Katie) Stacy; grandchildren, Jessica, Kirsten, Dietrich, Aiden, Nicklaus, Abigail, Xavier and Eloise; canine companions, Oscar, Charlie, Dudley and Gidget; sisters, Helen Niekirk and Cheryl Stacy; mother-in-law, Joann Kurth; sister-in-law, Terry Tenney; lifelong friend, James (Jackie) Emerson; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
The family will receive guests on Friday, March 2, 2018 from 2 – 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer – Northwest Chapel, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin Saturday at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home.

The family would like to give a special thank you to the Toledo Hospital staff, especially nurses, Abby, Becky, Amy and Brooke for all of their love, care and support given to Mike and our family through this difficult time.
