Daddy 'O
Michael Patrick Collins
Daddy 'O, of Sylvania, passed away Sunday, at home with his wife, step-daughter and best friend and brother, Jimmy Ross, by his side. He was a graduate of Macomber High School in 1970. He also has been employed with Lucas County for the last 16 years working under several different departments, with the latest being with Lucas County Sanitary Engineers. He has made several life long lasting friendships with co-workers. Many thanks to all of you that have helped our family in our time of need. Just as important, Daddy 'O was a very proud member of the Centurion Motorcycle Club. He loved his brothers, clubhouse and campsite #1, more than life itself. He spent most of his off time with his club brothers, riding and his famous campfires. Daddy 'O will be so sadly missed, as he will them. He was so proud of his 2000 Millennium Indian Chief motorcycle. After the Chief, he went back to Harley and he loved that as well. Daddy 'O never passed up a ride; whether it be with the club, a brother, or by himself, he loved to ride.
He was preceded in death by his mom, Dorothy; dad, Herbert; and also his beloved brother, Jim. He will be sadly missed by his wife, Trilby; sister, Sue (Lyle) Hamilton, of Virginia; daughter, Tessa (Mark) Anderson, of Toledo. Tessa also blessed Daddy 'O with a beautiful 17 month old grandson, Cody Daniel in which Gramps adored and called him his lil' firecracker. Also, his daughter #2, Jamie Lynn Cashin, of Toledo, whom has spent the last 27 years with him and also gave him a beautiful grandson, Brenden Thomas McCarty. Brenden and Grampa had 9 years to be best buds. They rode together, went to the butterfly house, fossil park and on and on. They both love nature and Grampa taught him how to respect it. He will be so sadly missed by Brenden. He is also survived by his father-in-law, John F. Repp. Sr., of Toledo; who shared so many funnies over the years.
A special thanks to all the friends that helped our family through these tough couple of months, You all know who you are!
