Michael Otis Massey, 59, passed away on July 15, 2013. He was born on January 29, 1954 to the late Virginia and Otis Massey in Toledo, Ohio.
Michael worked for TARTA as a Driver for 20 years. He loved fishing and camping with his family and friends. Michael was proud of being a father of 5 boys. He was truly a family man, dedicated completely to his entire family, and was the kind of person that became your life-long friend. Michael gave love and support to anyone who needed it. Everyone who knew him certainly has a funny story to remember him by.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 40 years, Debra; sons, Michael (Amy), David (Stacy), Daniel (Lisa), Matthew (Lauren) and Mark (Kari); sisters, Mona Honaker, Judy (Gary) Elkins, Barbara Alexander, Cheryl (Mark) Wilson; 9 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild and many life-long friends and loving relatives.
The family will receive guests on Thursday from 2-8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900). A Funeral Service will be held on Friday at 10:00 a.m. Interment at Springfield Twp. Cemetery.
