Michael R. Mylander, age 72, of Toledo, OH passed away at home February 3, 2025. He was a retired traffic engineer for the City of Toledo. He grew up on the west side of town where he built his life with his many friends and family. Mike was an avid motorcycle enthusiast, riding Harleys for most of his life. Mike was also a husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and an unforgettable friend. He was always willing to help a family member or friend in need.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Virginia and Mel Mylander, his beloved daughter Danielle (Dee) Miller, and great-granddaughter Kendall. He leaves behind brother Tommy (Nancy) Mylander, sisters Jan Greene and Julie (Jim) Lindsay, his son Michael Mylander, step-daughter Shannon Figas, grandchildren Brooke (Cody) Dickey, Zackery Miller, and Tyler Day, great-grandchildren Brody and Cody Jr, many nieces and nephews, Leroy the cat, and his many friends who are too numerous to mention. May his beloved soul rest in peace.
To honor Mike's request, there will be no funeral services at this time. A celebration of life will be planned for the spring/summer.
