Michael L. Doran

Michael L. "Mick" Doran, age 69, passed away after a courageous battle with COPD on Saturday, April 6, 2013. He was born August 24, 1943 to Henry and Frances (Sexton) Doran in Toledo. Mick proudly served his country in the U.S. Army and retired from Libbey Glass after 40 years of service. He enjoyed St. Patrick's day so much that he always brought the St. Patty's day spirit to work dressed as a big leprechaun. In his spare time he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, especially his grandson. Mick also was an avid golfer and played in numerous backyard horseshow tournaments. Mick's family will always remember him for his wonderful sense of humor and his love for living and enjoying life, family and friends.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 43 years, Judy E. (Sackman) Doran; son, Kris Doran; grandson, Brenden Doran; silbings, Richard, Ray (Lloyd), Joe (Lois) and Eleanor (Norm) Kwiatkowski; brother-in-laws, John (Dyann) Sackman and Jeff Couturier; many beloved nieces and nephews and a host of dear friends. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his siblings, Hank, George, Jim and Gerry; nephews, Jim and Tom.

The family will receive guests on Wednesday, April 10, 2013 from Noon to 5:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin in the funeral home at 5:00 p.m.
