Michael Eugene Jackson

Michael Eugene Jackson, age 70, of Toledo, passed away peacefully on January 20, 2022, at 6:26 p.m. at Flower Hospital. Michael was born June 4, 1951, in Springfield Township (Lucas County, Ohio) to Eugene and Mary Ella (Jordan) Jackson. Mike graduated in the class of 1969 from Springfield High School.
On July 21, 1986, Mike married the love of his life, Elaine Richardson Jackson. He was devoted to his family, a hard worker, and would put anyone's best interest before his own. He was a United States Air Force veteran, earning an honorable discharge in 1977. Mike worked for Daimler Chrysler for 30 years, retiring in 2007. He was very passionate about being hands-on with any task, whether large or small. Mike's strength enabled him to be the backbone of the family. He will be deeply missed by everyone who knew him. He was a devoted member of the West English Congregation of Jehovah's Witness.
Survivors include his loving wife of 35 years, Elaine; sons, Maurice, Rashard; daughter, Christine (Fabian); grandchildren, Maurice II, Markise, Raven, DaMichael, Mia, Sanaa, Mykal, Monte; siblings, Alice Williams, Gloria Davis, Donald, Delores, Cheri, Marnette, Darryl (Kim) Jackson, and a host of nephews, nieces, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Clemmie, Harry, Gerald, and Bethea Jackson.
"A precious one from us has gone,
A voice we love is stilled,
A place is vacant in our home,
Which never can be filled.
And after a lonely heartache,
And many a silent tear,
But always a beautiful memory
Of one we love so dear."
