Michael J. Dzenis

Michael J. Dzenis, age 36, of North Toledo, passed away Thursday, February 8, 2007 in his home. Mike was born August 13, 1970 to Janis and Ida (Schmegner) Dzenis, Sr. in Toledo. Mike worked for several different companies over the years. He enjoyed working on cars, cooking and spending time with his family and friends.

In addition to his parents, Janis Dzenis, Sr. and Ida Biechy, Mike was preceded in death by his daughter, Amanda Dzenis; brother, Herb Dzenis and stepfather, Leonard Biechy. He is survived by his wife, Christi L. (Rainey) Dzenis; daughter, Cymantha; step children, Dusty; Caylynn; and Ryan; brothers, Janis, Jr. (Carol); Richard (Gail); Robert (Robin); Joseph and Tim Dzenis; sisters, Regina (Terry) Conway; Brigitte Boles; Mary (Michael) Ackerman; Betty (Dave) Sosbe; Carol (Herbert, Jr.) Swartzlander and Suzanne (Rick) Madden and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive guests Sunday from 2-8:00 p.m. at the Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). The Funeral Services will be Monday at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Forest Cemetery.

The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of both St. V's and NW Ohio Hospice for the loving care and support they all provided for Mike.
