Michael Donovan

Michael Lyle Donovan, age 75, formally of Grass Lake, Michigan, passed away April 18, 2023 at the Cleveland Clinic. He was born August 3, 1947 in Jackson, Michigan to Lyle and Juva (Worth) Donovan. He graduated from Grass Lake High school in 1965. Michael served in the U.S. Navy until he was honorably discharged in 1971. He was employed with Goodyear Tire in Jackson MI, retiring from General Motors Power Train in Toledo, Ohio.

In addition to his parents, Michael was also preceded in death by his wives, Stephanie McCown, Karen Donovan, and Barbara (Ruby, Groah) Donovan; sons, David and Scott Donovan; and grandson, Joshua. He is survived by his son, Eric (Melissa) Donovan; daughter, Cathi Donovan; step-daughters, Lori (Gregory) Matuszak and Lisa (Robert) Hessler; sister, Mary Jo Donovan; brothers, Patrick (Julie) and Christopher (Susan) Donovan; 7 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; close friend, Jan Saunders; and a host of family and friends.
