On December 15th, 2020, an angel came down to cradle Michael in their loving arms and deliver him to our Lord and Savior. Michael was born August 28th, 1951 to Jack and Luelva (Jones) Delaney.
He attended Larc Lane School. Michael was employed with Lott Industries for 44 years before retiring in 2016. He loved bowling, Nascar, the Packers, the Yankees, wrestling, and Walleye Hockey. Michael was also an avid Ohio State and Notre Dame fan. He participated in the Special Olympics for several years and was proud of all of the medals he won over the years.
Michael is survived by his mother, Luelva (Jones) DeLaney; sisters, Janet Vasvery, Kathleen (John) Junkins, Amy (Rob) Dumond, and Julie DeLaney; brothers, Jack DeLaney, Jeff DeLaney, and Chris DeLaney; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his father, Jack L. DeLaney, and his grandparents.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 23rd, 2020 at 10:00 AM at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Chapel, located at 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd, Toledo, OH 43614. Funeral services will be held the same day at 11:00 AM with burial to follow at Resurrection Cemetery located at 5725 Hill Ave, Toledo, OH 43615.
