Michael Coffman

Michael "Mike" Coffman, age 56, of Wauseon, Ohio passed away on May 6, 2023. He was born on June 17, 1966 in Toledo, Ohio to Leamon and Frances (Miles) Coffman. Mike was a mechanic and a field technician for almost 40 years, recently starting his own business, Hot Tech Mechanical in 2020. He loved to travel for work and having the opportunity to explore new places even if it was just a long car ride. Mike never missed a Speedway coffee in the morning and enjoyed his Bud Light in the evenings. He enjoyed music, listening to classic rock and watching singing competitions on television. The most important thing to Mike was his family and friends, he was infamous for his surprise drop-ins on those he loved, and he valued his time with them over everything else.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Larry Coffman; and step-daughter, Chelsea Kujawski. He leaves behind his children, Michael Coffman and Morgan (Conor Hill) Coffman; granddaughter, Ella Hill; step-daughter, Heather Kujawski; step-grandchildren, Damian, Tristan, Alexia, Audrey, Caiden, Brycen, and Asher; sister, Brinda (Rick) Diebel; sister-in-law, Geneva Coffman; niece, Rebekah Mason; former wife, Dawn Jakubec; as well as several cousins, friends, and other family.

The family will receive guests on Saturday, May 13, 2023 from 2:00 pm – 8:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home – West Sylvania Chapel (419-392-9500), 3655 King Rd, Toledo, OH 43617.
