Michael W. Bullion

August 20, 1954 — June 13, 2022

Michael W. Bullion, age 67, of Perrysburg, passed away Monday, June 13, 2022 at Promedica Memorial Hospital, Fremont, Ohio. He was born August 20, 1954 in Jenkins, Kentucky to Jewell, Sr. and Melda (Crabtree) Bullion. Being the youngest of eight children, Mike was certainly the focus of his family's attention growing up. At the age of six, he was in a car accident and sustained lifelong physical challenges that brought him to have to rely on his family for his daily care. In the 1980's Mike and his mom moved to Dayton, Ohio where they made their home amongst family. After losing his mom in 1995, he was able to rely on his brother and sister-in-law, Jewell, Jr. and LuAnn to take care of him. In 2009 after Jewell, Jr. passed away, Mike moved to the Toledo area with LuAnn who was now his "go-to person".

Mike was an avid fan of WWE with many favorite old time wrestlers like Hulk Hogan, as well as several of the newer competitors. He was also a frequent winner of BINGO which he played at Manor Care every chance he could. Mike loved foods of all kinds, one of his all-time favorites was a peanut-butter, sardine and banana sandwich which caused many humorous comments and faces from those around him when he voiced "look what LuAnn brought me today!" He smiled from ear-to-ear as he enjoyed his sandwich. While Mike lived his life with many physical challenges he always had a smile and kindness that he share with everyone. He made a difference in the lives of those around him.

In addition to his parents, Mike was also preceded in death by his siblings, Jewell Bullion, Jr., Annette Damron and James Bullion; brother-in-law, Fred "Kamel" Damron and sisters-in-law, Audrey and Linda Bullion.

Mike is survived by his sister-in-law and caregiver, LuAnn Bullion of Gibsonburg, Ohio; nieces, Jamie (Jeff) Hansen of Toledo and Heather (Oscar "OJ") Bullion of Sandusky; great niece, Sierra Johnson also of Sandusky and sister-in-law, Cindy (Pauline) Oller of Gibsonburg. He is also survived by his elder siblings, Franklin Bullion of Sandusky, Ralph (Karen) Bullion, Ernest "Monkey" (Lois) Bullion and Patricia Goodman all of Dayton, Ohio.

Those wishing to make a Memorial Contribution in Mike's memory are asked to consider Promedica Hospice, as the Bullion Family are grateful for the loving care and compassion they showed to Mike during his last days.

Mike's urn will be buried at Green Acres Cemetery in Ermine, Kentucky, where there will be a small family gathering to celebrate his life.
