Michael Francis Bogdanski, age 70, passed away Friday, July 21, 2023 at his home. The son of Eugene and Albina, he was born October 9, 1952 in Toledo growing up in the Polish Village. He was a graduate of Central Catholic High School and received an Associate Degree from Davis College. Mike worked for Champion Spark Plug for 20 years until it closed. He then worked as a security installer for Habitec retiring in 2010. He married Shelly Curry in 2008. Mike's hobbies were model trains, NHRA, woodworking, and reading. He was a talented musician playing the bass and guitar and had the ability to play by ear. He loved his two Australian Shepherds, Skoda and Briscoe, who were his steadfast companions. He was very proud of his wife and children and all they have accomplished.
He is survived by his wife, Shelly; children, Melissa (T.J.) Houske, Monica Olmstead, Maureen Bogdanski, Matthew (Brooke) Bogdanski; grandchildren, Logan Criner, Olivia Criner, Kennedy Houske, Harper Houske, Hannah Houske, Nora Olmstead, Isabella Olmstead, Madelynn Bogdanski; great grandchild, Eden Criner; sister, Marie (James) Cozad.
The family will receive guests on Tuesday, July 25, 2023 from 2:00-6:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home-Southwest Chapel 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. Toledo where a service will be held Wednesday at 11:00 a.m.
