Michael Allan Brown

Michael A. Brown, age 51, of Luna Pier, Michigan, passed away Sunday, September 6th, 2009 at Mercy Memorial Hospital, Monroe, Michigan. He was born December 23rd, 1957 to Walter and Joan (Harrison) Brown, Sr. in Toledo. Mike was a General Contractor for many years. He was also a U.S. Army veteran, serving his country proudly. Mike was a very giving person who enjoyed sharing his talents with those in need of help or assistance. He was also recognized in January of this year by the U.S. Olympic Victory Team who competed in Vancouver for his contributions and support. He will be remembered by his family for his enthusiasm for WWF wrestling and his love of watching war movies. Mike was also looking forward to the birth of his first grandchild in January.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his best friend, "Picklemeister". Mike is survived by his loving son, Chuck (Abbie Harold) Brown; siblings, Walter (Bess) Brown, Jr.; Pam Oliver; George Rushlow; Terry (Susan) Rushlow; Sherry Tittle and Grace Tyner; special niece, Laura Oliver; several nieces, nephews; great nieces and great nephews; longtime companion, Irene Schmidt and many dear friends.

A Memorial Service will be held Friday, September 11th, 2009 at 6:00 p.m. at Amazing Grace Church, 1205 Crissey Rd., Holland, Ohio. Officiating Associate Pastor Bob Bolling.
