Michael A. Burnett, 54, joined his son, Michael A. Burnett II in Heaven, on March 24, 2014. He was born on October 8, 1959 to Alice Small and Roger Burnett in Toledo, Ohio.
In his younger years, Mike loved to hunt with his friends. He also liked playing his saxophone. Mike enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren. His family and friends will always remember his laughter and love for life.
Left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Misti Burnett, Crystal (Rob) Monaco and Sarah Howells; wife, Andrea; parents, Alice and Russ Small and Roger and Judy Burnett; siblings, Donald (Kim) Burnett, Cheryl (Jim) Piasecki, Samantha Streets, Mark Small, Dale Allenhimer, Randy (Maran) Burnett and Kim (Rich) Milosevick; Aunt Ellen (Dave); 11 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive guests on Sunday, March 30, 2014 from Noon-3:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900). The Memorial Service will begin at 3:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Family at any Huntington Bank.
