Merle Pugh

Merle "Jackie" Pugh, age 79, of Marysville, OH passed away Sunday, June 19, 2011 at The Gables at Green Pastures. She was born on October 19, 31 to John and Laura (Branham) Ingles in Otway, Ohio. Jackie was employed with Toledo Mold and Die and then went to work at 1 Hour Martinizing for 24 years before retiring. She was a member of Marysville Church of Christ. Jackie also volunteered at Memorial Hospital in Marysville. She loved nothing more than spending time with her family and grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Glen W. Pugh; son, Rodney Pugh; grandson, Jay Whitt; twin brother at birth, Earl Ingles; and brother, Vernon Ingles. Jackie is survived by her loving children, Pat (Bill) Whitt, Rick (Joetta) Pugh, Carol (Ed) Beil, Bob Pugh and Becky Ramsey; 12 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; sisters, Jean Collier and Lucille (Don) Caldwell; and many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

The family will receive guests on Wednesday from 5 – 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin Thursday at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park.
