Mercedes Watson
March 20, 1923 — July 18, 2012
Mercedes (Loo) Watson, formerly of Holland, Ohio and now resides in Lake Wales, Florida, passed away peacefully July 18, 2012. She was born March 20, 1923 in the Phillipines , she married Army Sergeant Bock Kwong Loo (a.k.a Jimmy) during WWII, who preceded her in death in 1985. Also preceding her in death were 2 grandchildren, Jeremy and Rachael, and 2 great grandchildren, Kaelie and Anthony.
She is survived by loving husband, of 25 years, Chuck, who took care of her during her long illness; children, Carmen (Mitch), Jim (Cindy), Vicky (Bob), Butch (Cathy), Eugene (Mileva), Pat (David), Jerry (Bonnie) and Charlie; also 26 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements will be private and handled by Newcomer Funeral Home.
A special thanks to all at Hospice of Northwest Ohio for their kindness and help in our time of need.
