Melissa A. Collins-Laforge

Melissa A. "Missy" Collins-LaForge, age 40, of Waterville, passed away peacefully Monday, October 15, 2012 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo surrounded by family. She was born on February 21, 1972 to James and Kathleen (Madden) Collins in Toledo. Missy was a free spirit and loved music of all kinds. After all of her trials and tribulations she is now free from all the pain and suffering.

Missy is survived by her daughters, Mehgan Yunker and Hannah Collins; parents, Don and Kathy Hedrick and Jay and Barb Collins; paternal grandmother, Adele Collins; brother, David (Molley) Collins; sister, Kim (Brandon) Mouser; nephews, Tyler and Blake Williams; and special friends, Darin Yunker and Brian LaForge. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Gert Madden; paternal grandfather, William P. Collins; and special uncle, Fr. Mike Madden.

There will be no visitation for Missy and Private Memorial Services will be held at a later date. The Newcomer Funeral Home assisted the family with professional services.
