Maybelle L. Anderson passed away quietly at her residence in Las Vegas, NV on April 3, 2017.
Maybelle was born on September 25, 1913, the daughter of Alex and Nellie Turner in Fosston, Minnesota. Her mother was a member of the James Smith Cree Indian Tribe. In 1932 she married Ellsworth S. Anderson, one of the founders of Calvary Assembly of God Church in Toledo, Ohio. She was widowed in 1958. She was passionate about her love for God and centered her life on serving Jesus.
Maybelle is survived by daughters Penny (Gordon) Crane, of Manitou Beach MI, and Trygve (David) Ferguson, of Dallas Texas; 14 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; 15 great-great-grandchildren who will sadly miss her; and son-in-law, Ken Ball. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Ellsworth; her beloved daughters, Constance N. Drago and Elaine S. Ball; many sisters and brothers and 1 son-in-law.
The family will receive guests on Tuesday, April 18th, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. Toledo, Ohio (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin Tuesday at Noon in the funeral home. Interment will follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
