Maurice "Mo" Pyrl Gorman, age 55, of Holland, passed away Tuesday, August 21, 2007. He was born June 12, 1952 to James and Margaret (Cook) Gorman in Perrysburg, Ohio. He attended Howe Military School, Miami University and Hillsdale College. "Mo" worked in the hospitality industry for over 30 years and traveled extensively. He returned to the local area the last 10 years where he met the love of his life, Peggy. eH "Mo" was a bar manager with some of the finest area restaurants and was a member of Valleywood Golf Club and a former member of the Maumee Elks. Most of all, "Mo" cherished the time he spent with his family and friends sharing his amazing talent for creating "mo-tinis."
"Mo" was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his loving wife, Peggy (Hudson) Gorman; brother, Mark (Debra) Gorman and their children, Ashley and Ryan; step-children, Ryan (Maggie) Stockman and Neely Stockman; father-in-law, Dale Hudson; brothers-in-law, Randy (Michelle) Hudson and Rick (Carol) Hudson; grandchildren, Darby; Hudson and Kennedy and special friends Wes & Joanne, "little Mo" & Steve.
The family will receive guests Friday from 2-6:00 p.m. in the Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300), with Memorial Services beginning at 6:00 p.m.
