Maureen "Moe" L. Stiles, age 72, of Toledo, passed away Wednesday, November 4, 2020 at The Toledo Hospital. She was born April 9, 1948 in Adrian, Michigan to Edmond and Agnes (Hickey) McMahon. Maureen graduated from Start High School, Class of 1966 and continues to stay in touch with many of her classmates. She was employed with the Courts as a Clerk for more than 18 years.
Maureen loved to cook and bake for her family so she was excited when she made the decision to open her own business, "Moe's Homemade Pies and Pastries". She specialized in making pies, cakes and cream puffs for all to enjoy. Maureen's talent was strong making her business successful.
Cooking and baking weren't her only talents, Maureen also enjoyed crafting, floral arranging and creating keepsakes of all kinds. She and her husband Bob participated in many crafts shows where she could showcase her creations at various craft shows throughout the area.
Maureen and Bob felt fortunate to have been able to travel throughout the United States, some of the places they liked to go included Florida, Gatlinburg and LasVegas.
She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother cherishing the times spent with family and friends. Maureen was lovingly referred to as "the Hostess with the Mostest" by all who knew her. She and Bob were gracious hosts welcoming family and friends into their home for special occasions, holiday celebrations or impromptu family gatherings.
Maureen was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her loving husband of almost 53 years, Robert "Bob" Stiles; children, James Stiles, Craig Stiles and Megan (Johnathan) Burroughs; grandchildren, Lydia, Jonah, Brooklynn, Sierra, Gabriel and Elijah and siblings, Sharon, Brian(Marcy) McMahon, Gary McMahon of CA, Carol (Bill), Kevin McMahon, Judy (Rob) of AZ and Mike (Vicki) McMahon.
Graveside Services for Bob & Moe will be held on Friday, July 29, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Restlawn Memorial Park, 3665 Genoa Rd., Perrysburg, OH 43551.
A Celebration of Life to honor Bob & Moe will be held at Prime Nightlife on Sunday, July 31, 2022 from 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. Newcomer Funeral Home – Northwest Chapel, Toledo (419-473-0300) assisted the family with professional services.
The Stiles Family would like to extend a special Thank You to Dr. Phibbs, Whitney and the entire team of Nurses and Staff for the loving care and support you provided for Moe over the years.
