Maude "Betty" Elizabeth Freeman
Maude E. "Betty" Freeman, age 81 of Toledo passed away Thursday June 12, 2003 in Lake Park at Flower Hospital. She was born July 10, 1921 to Harris and Luella (Harding) Simon in Toledo. Betty was also a longtime parishioner of St. Clement Catholic Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her husband; Robert S. Freeman in 1982. Also preceding her were two sisters and one brother. Betty is survived by her daughter; Terrie (Bruce) Brown of Mansfield, OH., sons; Robert (Geraldine) Freeman and Michael (Linda) Freeman all of Toledo, 4 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren and many dear friends from Hope Manor.
The family will receive guests Sunday from 3-8:00 p.m. in the Newcomer-Farley Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). A Rosary will be recited Sunday at 7:30 p.m. in the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin Monday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Clement Catholic Church, 3030 Tremainsville Rd. officiating will be Fr. Joseph Vamos Interment will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park. Memorial Contributions may be made to Visiting Nurse Hospice at Lake Park.
