Matthew P. Rex
Matthew P. Rex, age 23 of Toledo passed away Tuesday, March 15th, 2005 in St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center. He was born June 4th, 1981 to Perry L. and Paulette J. (Smith) Rex in Toledo.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Paul and Helen Smith. Matthew is survived by his loving wife, Joeie J. (Montri) Rex; children, Alicia and Matthew Paul-James "P.J." Rex; mother, Paulette Rex; father, Perry Rex; sister, Brittanie Rex and children, Dominic; Damion; Chelseah and Courtney; sisters-in-law, Christie Dezienny and children, Carissa and Tristen; Jamie and Carlee Montri and brother-in-law, R.J. Montri and grandparents, Harry and Jean Rex.
The family will receive guests Sunday from 4-8:00 p.m. in the Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin at 9:45 a.m. in the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Mt Carmel Church, 8330 Lewis Ave., Temperance. Officiating will be Rev. Daniel Nusbaum. Interment will follow in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Resurrection Cemetery.
