Matthew Ryan Broadway, 37, of Toledo, passed away October 11, 2021 at his home. Matthew was born August 1, 1984 in Toledo to Matthew and Susan (Wise) Broadway.
He was a 2003 graduate of Southview High School. Ryan was an avid Ohio State Buckeye fan. Later in life, he was a big help to his grandpa Noah, spending lots of time with him. Ryan struggled throughout his life with addiction, although that did not define who he was. He had a kind and gentle soul who will be dearly missed by all.
He is survived by his father, Matthew Myron Broadway; sisters, Nicole Broadway, Jessica (John) Boyle; nephews, Luke and Jacob Boyle and Hayden Holifield; niece, Ava Robasser; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Ryan was preceded in death by his mom, Susan Broadway and grandparents, Marge & Noah Broadway and Bruce & Cherall Wise
A gathering will be held on Saturday, October 23, 2021 from 1:00-4:00 p.m. at Church 3TwentyOne, 5845 Centennial Rd, Sylvania, OH 43560, where a Celebration of Life honoring Ryan will begin at 3:00 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice in Ryan's memory.
