Mary Ellen Tomaszewski

Mary Ellen Tomaszewski, age 73, passed away on Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at Ebeid Hospice in Sylvania. She was born on May 16, 1943 to Assam and Elizabeth (Rahal) Moses in Toledo. She graduated from DeVilbiss High School in 1961. She married Harry P. Tomaszewski on April 27, 1968.
Mary retired in 2008 from Lucas County Educational Service Center as a before and after school program coordinator. She loved working with, teaching and encouraging children. These students loved Miss Mary.
She was the best Grammy ever to Amanda and Kinley and a wonderful GiGi to Calen.
Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 49 years, Harry Tomaszewski; daughter, Amy; son, Cory (Samantha Ostachnowicz); granddaughters, Amanda and Kinley; great-grandson, Calen and sister, Cathy (Gary) Wanner.
Mary requested that there not be any services.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Ebeid Hospice.
Mary's family would like to especially thank the nurses and staff at Ebeid Hospice for their diligent care and support while Mary was in their care.
