Mary J. Sundling

Mary Joanne (Koles) Sundling peacefully transitioned and is now with her loving husband Shane Owen Sundling, her parents Steve, Sr. and Mary Koles along with special friend and companion Dan Haughian, siblings Dorothy, Steve, Jr. Eleanor, Alice, Jeanette, Ronald,Sr., Robert. She is lovingly survived by her daughter Donna Lee (Michael) Sommer and sisters Carolyn and Shirley.

Mary was a passionate volunteer at East Toledo Senior Center and shared her ceramic, crochet, paintings with many. She always enjoyed giving her hand-made with love items to friends, family, veterans organizations, homeless, newborns and anyone who needed a warm scarf, mittens or a blanket. As a member at Oregon Senior Center, she enjoyed their art programs and reacquainting herself with Waite High School graduates. Mary received various volunteer recognition with various East Toledo groups.

Rest in peace and know that we shall meet again.

A graveside service will be held Monday, April 1, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. at Toledo Memorial Park at 6382 Monroe St, Sylvania, OH 43560
