Mary Jean Peters

Mary Jean Peters passed away on June 11, 2024. She was the loving wife of the late Ed and mother of David Peters, Terri Turner and Dan (Mary Pat) Peters. Jean was the grandmother of Hailey (Brendan) Desmond and Matthew Turner, and the great-grandmother to Mikey and Lucas Desmond and Porter Turner. Others very dear to Jean included Charlie and Amanda Turner, Alex and Taylor Turner, and Abigail, Sidney, and Samantha Turner. Aunt Jean will be missed by her nieces and nephews, as well as her cousins and friends.

Jean was born in Cincinnati during the Depression, she grew up in a rock solid family environment which stressed devotion, love, sharing and kindness.
Kindness was where she blossomed … and she pushed that forward toward all.

Jean was a devout catholic, a wife, a wonderful mother, a teacher, a friend, and a loving daughter.

The family will receive guests from 10:00 am - 11:00 am on Saturday, June 22, 2024 at Saint Clement Catholic Church in Toledo, where a Memorial Mass will begin at 11:00 am

In lieu of flowers, contributions to Hospice of Northwest Ohio are suggested.
