Mary Jo Perkins

Mary Jo Perkins, age 57, of Toledo, passed away Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at home. She was born September 23, 1961 to Kenneth T. and Mary E. (Balog) Myers in Toledo. Mary Jo was a 1979 graduate of Whitmer High School. She was a loving daughter, mother, grandmother, sister and friend who was a remarkable cook and enjoyed preparing meals for her family, especially for her grandsons. Mary Jo enjoyed swimming, taking her youngest grandson to the library and spoiling all her grandsons to the fullest. She loved nothing more than spending time with her family, especially her grandsons. Mary Jo will be deeply missed by all whose hearts she touched and her smile will remain on forever.

She was preceded in death by her mom. Mary is survived by her loving daughter, Casey (Jacob) Weiser; grandchildren, Blake, Owen and Maxwell; father, Kenneth Myers; sister, Elizabeth (Richard) Sorgenfrei; and brothers, Kenneth T. Myers, Jr. and Paul Myers.

The family will receive guests on Wednesday, February 20, 2019 from 4 – 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer – Northwest Chapel, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin Thursday, February 21, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Lake Township Cemetery.
