Mary Mueller

Mary Ella Mueller, age 79, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, January 15, 2010. Mary was born on July 30, 1930 in Harrison Township, Ohio to Ray "Jim" and Ethel (Gray) Knepley. Mary was a loving and supportive wife, mother, grandma, sister, and aunt. She was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church in Toledo, where she was a past member of the Board of Evangelism. Mary enjoyed attending Bible Study at the church and helping out at the mission. She was involved with Stephen's Ministries serving as a caregiver to many. Through the years, Mary enjoyed entertaining family and friends in her home. She enjoyed playing cards and board games with her entire family. Mary will be dearly and deeply missed by her family and friends.

She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Weldon "Don" Mueller; daughter, Robin (Joseph) Nelson; son, Mark (Helen) Mueller; sister, Lana (Leonard) Sonnenberg; five grandchildren, Jennifer Nelson, Brad Nelson, Brian Nelson, Heather Mueller, Rachel Stokes; many nieces and nephews and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Julian Knepley.

The family will receive guests Sunday, 2-4:00 p.m. and 6-8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will be Monday at 10:00 a.m. at Concordia Lutheran Church. Officiating will be Pastor Doug Milander. Graveside Services will be at 2:00 p.m. in Forest Hill Cemetery in Napoleon, Ohio.

Memorial contributions may be made to Promedica Hospice or to Lutheran Home Society or Concordia Lutheran Church Building Fund.
