Mary Louise Hayward

Mary Louise Hayward, age 85, of Temperance, passed away on Thursday, September 8, 2016 at the Toledo Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was born on January 21, 1931 to Joseph and Mabel Van de Venter in Petersburg, Michigan. Mary enjoyed traveling to Florida in the winter. She loved to cook, paint and take care of her family. Mary was involved with her church in Florida. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Richard Hayward. Mary is survived by her loving children, Marilyn (Ken) Kasee and David (Lynn) Hayward; grandchildren, Kenneth Shawn, Christopher (Kristie), Jennifer (Mitchell) and Matthew; 9 great-grandchildren; sisters, Evelyn Knight and Janet (Richard) Noirot; and nieces, nephews and her Florida friends.

Graveside Services will be held at the Chapel of Peace at Toledo Memorial Park, 6382 Monroe St., Sylvania, OH 43560 on Friday at 2:00 p.m. with visitation a half hour prior in the chapel. The Newcomer Funeral Home – NW Chapel (419-473-0300) assisted the family with professional services.
