Mary Loredo

Mary Loredo, age 84, of Temperance, formerly of Toledo, passed away Wednesday, April 16, 2008 at the Toledo Hospital. She was born on September 8, 1923 to Manuel and Susie (Flores) Avad in Saspanco, Texas. Mary enjoyed gardening, music and dancing. She loved nothing more than spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Alejandro Ochoa and Alex Loredo, daughter, Mary Rios and brother, Manuel Avad; Mary is survived by her sons: Domingo (Mary Kay), Roy, Alex Jr., Robert (Mary), James, Henry (Lynn), David and Daniel Ochoa and Gilbert Loredo; daughters: Jane Stuard, Susie Avad and Janet (Francisco) DeLaRosa; 40 grandchildren; numerous great and great-great grandchildren; cousin: Alfonso; and many nieces nephews.

The family will receive guests on Tuesday from 2 – 8:00 p.m. at the Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300) with a Rosary being recited at 7:30 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at Saints Peter and Paul Church, 728 S. St. Clair St., Toledo with a gathering one hour prior. Officiating will be Fr. Richard Notter. Interment will follow in Restlawn Memorial Park.
