Mary Evelyn Leach

Mary Evelyn Leach, age 74, passed away on December 8, 2020 at St. Vincent Hospital in Toledo. She was born August 1, 1946 to the late William and Thelma (Hickman) Norton. Mary was a graduate of Clay High School in Oregon, Ohio and went on to receive her Associate's Degree in Business Management at the University of Toledo. She married the love of her life, Lowell on May 7, 1973 in Jellico, Tennessee. Mary helped support her family as a Grill Cook at Family Affair Restaurant for over 15 years.

In addition to her parents, Mary is preceded by her son, William McClanahan. To cherish her memory she leaves her husband of 52 years, Lowell Leach Sr.; 5 Children: Thelma (Edd Jr.) Davis, Lowell (Jackie) Leach Jr., Malinda Benarth, William Leach and Maegan Leach; 14 Grandchildren: Aaron, Brookelyn, Heaven, Alisha, Tommy, David, Lowell "Baby," Kailey, Niqole, Damion, Haile, Andrew, Skyler and Grayson; 5 Great Grandchildren: MacKenzie, Makayla, Olivia, Liam and Rhett; Many nieces and nephews.

Due to Covid-19 the family has chosen Private Services. Newcomer Funeral Home; 4150 W. Laskey, Toledo (419)473-0300 has been entrusted with her funeral arrangements.
