Mary Ann Lance

Mary Ann Lance gained her wings next to her family on December 29, 2021. She was 64 years young. She had many titles including Wife, Mom, Momma, Nam, Mimi, Grandma Queeny, Grandma No-No, Daughter, Sister, Aunt and Friend.

Mary was a fierce woman – holding fast to her beliefs and defending those beliefs and those she loved. Family was everything to Mary. She Loved her husband, children and grandchildren with her whole being. There was never a day that went by where she didn't brag about all of her beautiful babies. She also enjoyed car rides with her husband, and giving little treat packages to her grandkids. She loved cooking for her family, her meatballs and meatloaf were their favorites. And she got great pleasure from teaching the little ones songs, stories and educational tidbits.

Mary is Survived by her Husband of 47 years; Steve Lance, Daughters; Barbara (Shane) Hunter, Stephanie (Shane) Crye, Grandsons; Shane Jr (Alli) Hunter, Dakota Hunter, Bentley and Deacon. Great Grandson; Maverick.

She was Preceded in death by her Father: Clinton Sloan her Mother: Emma Vess. and her Sisters: Lois and Connie

The family will receive guests Monday, January 3, 2022 from 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. at the Newcomer SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo, (419-381-1900). Funeral services will be held Monday at 5:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Her family asks that if you attend, please wear a mask to help keep Steve and everyone else who is vulnerable safe.
