Mary L. Vorbau

Mary L. Vorbau, born December 24, 1937 to John and Ruth Howland in Providence, RI, completed her 76 years of her Earthly walk. She went to walk with the angels and grace her Lord on April 28, 2014. Besides her family, she enjoyed gardening, various crafts, and her dogs. Mary made her neighborhood home a welcome place to visit. By making great snacks and interesting costumes, she made room-mother visits to her son's elementary school classrooms entertaining. Her tasty cooking was enjoyed by all.

Mary shared her life with her husband Dick for 54 years. She was the mother to sons, Mike and Jim (Kim); siblings, Shirley, Ruth and Johnny, John and Noeline Vorbau; nieces and nephews; and sister-like friend Peggy. She will be missed by her family and friends.

The family will Celebrate her Life with Memorial Services on Saturday, May 17, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Central Christian Church, 1660 Amesbury, Toledo, OH. Interment will be private. The Newcomer Funeral Home (419-473-0300) assisted the family with professional services.
