Mary L. Brown

Mary L. Brown of Toledo passed away Wednesday, January 8, 2003 in Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg. She was born January 31 to Paul and Marie (Michael) Myers in Gibsonburg, Ohio. Mary was a Pharmacy Technician with Rite Aid for 34 years retiring in 1990. She was a longtime member of Grace Lutheran Church and involved with the exercise class through the church. Mary was also a loyal member of the "Elder-Beerman Shopping Club" and considered a valuable customer. Most importantly, Mary enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother; Paul Myers and granddaughter; Debbie Jagodzinski. Mary is survived by her loving husband of 58 years; James R. Brown, son; James (Sue) Brown, daughter; Sherry Lynn (Mike) Earl, sisters; Leona Dargartz and Barbara Michalski grandchildren; Chrisy, Vicki, Laurie and Mike Jr., great grandchildren; Megan, Logan, Austin, Johnny and Ryan and many dear friends.

The family will receive guests Friday from 2-8:00 p.m. in the Newcomer-Farley Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300) and Saturday from 11-12:00 p.m. at Grace Lutheran Church, 4441 Monroe St. Funeral Services will begin Saturday at 12:00 p.m. at the Church. Officiating will be Pastor T.I. Redfern and Pastor Merlin Jacobs. Interment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park. Memorial Contributions may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
