Mary E. Kobylansky, age 66, resident of Holland, Ohio, passed away and went to be with the Lord, on Friday, May 6, 2022, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Toledo. She was born on February 22, 1956, in Detroit, Michigan, to the late William and Patricia Kobylansky.
Mary was a 1974 High School graduate, graduating from Wayne High School. She continued her studies at Eastern Michigan University. Mary had worked for Ann Arbor Public Schools for over 30 years. A Christian, she would volunteer at Belleville Presbyterian Church. She had a big heart and was a sweet woman; Mary helped anyone who needed it. Whether it was at a church or selling tickets for a play, you could always count on her giving a hand. Mary had a passion for reading, especially Sci-Fi and Romance novels. She loved watching Sci-Fi shows, one of them being Dr. Who. Mary was very talented when it came to crocheting; she would crochet afghans and towels and donate them or give them to her loved ones. All who knew her will truly miss her.
Those left to forever cherish her memory are her two daughters, Sharon (Paul) Weirick and Rowan (Joshua) Childers; grandsons, Jack and Leo Childers; brother, Mark Kobylansky; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other loved ones.
In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her brother, Michael Kobylansky.
