Mary Gabriel, 75, went home to the Lord on Sunday, December 29, 2013. She was born on February 26, 1938 in Brooklyn, New York.
Mary retired from the County Auditor's Office. She loved going on cruises and dancing with her husband, Paul. Mary adored her family, especially her grandchildren, and loved spending time with them. She enjoyed gardening and being outdoors.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Jack Bluni. Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 29 years, Paul; children, Jerry (Carrie) Ferrantino and Tony (Helene) Ferrantino; step-son, Cliff (Kai Lee) Gabriel; siblings, Jenny Thompson, Joe Bluni and Carmella Sposito; grandchildren, Daniel, Brian, Vincent, Jillian, Clifford and Morganne and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive guests on Friday, January 3, 2014 from 2-8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900). The Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Parish, 5856 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo. Prayers will begin in the Funeral Home at 9:30 a.m. Burial will take place at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
