Mary Anne Fulk

May 12, 1990 — March 11, 2024

Mary Anne Fulk, age 33, of Holland, OH finally won her battle with cancer on March 11, 2024 when she went home to be with her Lord and Savior. She was born May 12, 1990 in Rochester, NY and her adoption process began 2 days later when her loving parents picked her up at the hospital.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Bernard (Bud) and Dorris Fulk; her grandmother, Mary Jane Huntsman, as well as, Jack and Virginia Huntsman; her uncle, Al Hart; her uncle, Mike Fulk; and her uncle, Ron Fuleki.

Mary Anne is survived by her parents, Rex and JoAnne (Huntsman) Fulk; her sister, Leslee (Bob) Jeffery; niece, Annie (Jeffery) Fitzgerald (and soon to be great niece); her nephews, Wesley and Jackson Jeffery; and many other loving family and friends.

Mary Anne was home schooled from Kindergarten through her Senior year and graduated from Emmanuel Christian School in 2008. During high school she was involved with Civil Air Patrol at the 180th Air National Guard Base where she achieved the rank of First Lieutenant and led the Honor Guard.

She graduated with honors from the University of Toledo with a Bachelor's Degree in Business in 2012.

She worked at DirectBuy of Toledo through most of high school and college. Upon graduation, she became the Showroom Supervisor until they permanently closed. Mary Anne worked as a Kitchen and Bath Designer at Carter Lumber through her illness. She achieved several design awards at this position, including Kitchen of the Year in 2023.

She grew up in Hope Baptist Church of Toledo and was active in Teen Group, Choir and as a Soloist. She joined Bible Believers Baptist Church of Greater Toledo at the charter service in April 2022.

At the age of 5, Mary Anne accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Lord and Savior. This faith in Jesus Christ is what kept the smile on her face while battling stage 4 cancer for over 3 years. It sustained her through numerous surgeries, radiation therapies and chemotherapies. Her bright smile encouraged many people and was a testimony of her walk with the Lord.

Mary Anne had a love for life. She loved spending time with her family and friends. Her brother-in-law, niece and nephews were some of her favorite people. She enjoyed food and loved sharing it with her people. She was adventurous and even parasailed and skydived from 14,000 feet. She was a big help (gopher) to her dad and Uncle Mike while building her parents' home in 1997. She loved music and it was the center of many of her travels. She enjoyed many concerts and Broadway musicals. She saw Wicked several times with friends and has traveled as far as New Mexico to see it performed. Mary Anne loved to go on cruises. She was an avid New York Yankees fan who loved to talk about them with her Uncle Al. She loved New York City and her last adventure was a trip there with her sister and one of her best friends.

She loved and was loved by her family. She will be thoroughly missed by her family and all her knew her.
