Mary J. Franklin passed away on Thursday, December 23, 2021, at her home. Mary was born on July 17, 1957.
She attended Glenwood Elementary and Start High School. She worked the majority of her life as a waitress and catering server. She was a volunteer at the Humane Society walking dogs and she loved helping her West Toledo neighborhood cats. She was an avid gardener and a diehard Steelers girl.
She is survived by her husband, Jerry D. Franklin, children: Tori Stover, Jessica Click and Paul Livingston; grandchildren, Brittany Kidd, David Kidd Jr., Kayla Kidd, Harlie Kidd, Bobby Click, and Rae Anne Acs; sisters, Becky (Denny) Degnan, Ellen Morris and nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Sara and Herman Morris and her first daughter, Angel Kidd.
Family and friends may gather at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3655 King Road, Toledo, Ohio 43617, on Tuesday, December 28, 2021, from 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Toledo Humane Society, 827 Illinois Ave, Maumee, OH 43537.
