Mary Ellen Miller, affectionately known as Ellen, left this world on November 15, 2024, in Cleveland, Ohio, at the age of 67. Born on October 6, 1957, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Ellen's life marked not only by vibrant personality but also her deep commitment to her family and friends.

Ellen was a devoted wife to her beloved husband Sam Miller, sharing a beautiful partnership that lasted 43 years. Together, they created a home with laughter, love, and unforgettable memories. As a loving mother, she took immense pride in her daughter, Kristin Cicerella, and embraced her role as a doting grandmother to Lillian and Kennedi, saying time and again that her granddaughters were her life. Ellen’s passion for family was felt by all, as she poured her heart into her relationships, making every gathering a reason to celebrate.

With a big, bold personality, Ellen had a unique ability to light up any room she entered. Passionate and fun-loving, she was not only a friend but also a source of joy for many. Her interests spanned from gardening to being an avid supporter of Pittsburgh sports, showcasing a vibrant zest for life. Ellen also enjoyed traveling with her family, creating cherished memories that would last a lifetime.

She comes from a close-knit family that also feels the tremendous void her passing has left. Ellen is survived by her husband Sam Miller, daughter Kristin Cicerella and husband Chris,  granddaughters Lillian and Kennedi Cicerella, siblings: Bill Humberston and his wife Lynne, Beth Humberston, Jaye Seth and her husband John, Patrick Humberston, and Terri Gregor and her husband Frank. Her dear sister-in-law, Edie Humberston, and brother-in-law, Frank Linsenbigler, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members and friends, will carry her memory in their hearts forever.

Ellen is preceded in death by her beloved son, Buddy Miller, and her parents, William "Bud" Humberston and Betty Humberston. Additionally, she is reunited in spirit with her sister, Mary Anne Linsenbigler, and brother, John Humberston.

A visitation in her honor will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home, Northwest Toledo, located at 4150 W Laskey Rd, Toledo, OH 43623, on December 14, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, followed by a memorial service beginning at 2:00 PM.

As we remember Mary Ellen Miller, let us celebrate her life filled with love, laughter, and profound connections. She leaves behind a legacy that will endure in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her. Her spirit will continue to inspire warmth, friendship, and the joy of living fully.
