Mary Elizabeth (King) Reifel, age 78, of Bowling Green, passed away Sunday, April 29, 2007 at the Blakely Care Center in Bowling Green. She was born on July 21, 1928 to John and Laura King in Fostoria, Ohio. Mary was a longtime member of Grace Cathedral and the Topeka Ballet in Topeka, Kansas. She had a strong passion for music and was also a member of various music and book clubs throughout her lifetime. Mary loved sports and was an excellent golfer and bowler. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lee B. Reifel, grandson, Markus Rademacher and sister, Millie David. Mary is survived by her loving family, daughter: Becky (Dieter) Rademacher, of Cygnet, OH; sons: Michael (Debbie), of Brooksville, FL and Rev. Patrick (Linda) Cochenour, of Indonesia; 8 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and sister: Joanne Wendt, of GA.
There will be no visitation and a private family gathering was held. Mary will be laid to rest at Grace Cathedral in Topeka, KS. The Newcomer Funeral Home, Toledo, 419-473-0300 assisted the family with arrangements.
