Mary Cummings, age 67, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away on March 30, 2023, at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center. She was born on April 16, 1955, in Oregon, Ohio, to Donald and Barbara (Johnson) Osenbaugh.
Mary was a graduate of Waite High School, where she graduated in 1974. During her high school years, she was a majorette all four years and was part of Glassman Core. Mary loved baking, relaxing in the pool, tending to her garden, and watching NASCAR, with her favorite driver being Chase Elliot. She also enjoyed motorsports like dirt track racing, and camping. A sports fan, she was a fan of the Dallas cowboys and Ohio State Buckeyes. Mary loved and adored her grandchildren; they meant the world to her. She also loved her dog, Sheba, who passed before her. Mary had a heart of gold and would do anything for anybody. Her love and smile will forever be missed. This isn't goodbye, it's see you later…
Those left to forever cherish her memory are her two sons, Gale Frybarger Jr. and Steve (Jenny) Frybarger; significant other, Daniel Cummings; five grandchildren, Amber, Levi, James, Jozlynn, and Eliana; step-sons, Chad Cummings and Thomas "TJ" Cummings; five step-grandchildren, Ian, Kylee, Tiler, Tayzen, and Arizona; mother, Barbara Osenbaugh; a sister, Kathy Streight; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mary was preceded in death by her father, Donald Osenbaugh; brother, Robert Osenbaugh; and an infant sibling, baby Osenbaugh.
Family and friends may visit at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 West Laskey Road, Toledo, Ohio 43623, on Wednesday, April 5, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of her funeral at 3:00 p.m. Mary will be laid to rest at a later date at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mary's family in assisting with funeral arrangements or a Shriners Childrens hospital.
