Mary Cecelia Jameson

Mary C. Jameson, age 84, of Toledo, passed away Tuesday, April 6th, 2010 at Sylvania Care and Rehabilitation. She was born August 15th, 1925 to Lawrence and Cecelia (Dell) Sanderbeck in Jeannette, Pennsylvania. Mary was employed with the former Lamson's Department Store in downtown Toledo and then at the Franklin Park location. She was a longtime member of Christ the King Parish and enjoyed bowling with the Ladies Bowling League. She loved being able to be outside enjoying the warm sunshine while she sat on her swing in the yard and caring for her cats "Charlie" and "Hobo". Most importantly, Mary was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother cherishing the time she spent with her family.

In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her brother, Jack Sanderbeck. She is survived by her loving husband of almost 64 years, Glen E. Jameson; children, Tom (Connie) Jameson of Sylvania, OH; Mary Jo (Chuck) Faller of Temperance, MI.; Jerry (Pat) Jameson of Perrysburg, OH and Tim Jameson of Clarksville, TN; 9 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren and sister, Ruth Carroll of Jeannette, PA.

The family will receive guests Sunday from 2-8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin Monday at 11:30 a.m. in the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 p.m. at Christ the King Church, 4100 Harvest Lane. Interment will follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.

The Jameson Family would like to thank the entire staff of Sylvania Care and Rehabilitation Center for the loving care and support they provided for Mary during her time there.
