Mary Louise Boles, born Mary Louise Holston on September 6, 1943, in Washington, Arkansas. Mary departed this life on January 7, 2022, after a very long slow battle with Alzheimer's and Dementia.
After taking time out to raise her four children, Mary took night classes to receive her GED in 1977, and continued on to receive her nurse's aide certificate. How proud she was of this accomplishment. She believed in working hard to get what she wanted and had several jobs in her lifetime. She retired after working over 20 years at St. Vincent's Mercy Medical Center. After retirement, Mary continued to work for numerous years as a nurse's aide. After a long work week, Mary's choice of entertainment was dancing to her favorite Blues music and going to the casino for some excitement.
Waiting with open arms to receive Mary, will be her daughter, Gwen; along with a host of other family and friends.
Mary leaves to cherish her memory are her children, Sheila Abraham, Amanda Abraham, and Jeffrey (Jeannette) Abraham; brother, Walter (LaBrenda) Holston; sister, Eva Jane Holston (Dennis) Cole; grandchildren, Racoreo, Dominic, Renaldo, Michael, Cierra, Rashad, Brittney, Jasmine, Marcus, Caron; along with eight great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Mary's family would like to thank everyone for their endless prayers, kind words, and thoughts. They would also like to thank the staff at Foundation Park for looking out for their mom. A special thank you to Raykesha for taking such good care of their mom.
Family and friends may visit at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Road, Toledo, Ohio 43623, on Tuesday, January 18, 2022, from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 19, 2022, at 11:00 am, with Pastor Kenneth Huntley officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
