Mary Ann Ruble

Mary Ann Ruble, age 79, of Toledo, Ohio passed away April 5, 2014 at The Cleveland Clinic. She was born October 19, 1934 in Eaton Rapids, Michigan to John and Flossie (Weldon) Van Gorder. Mary Ann graduated from Adrian High School in 1952 and Nursing School in 1984. After graduating from nursing school, Mary Ann was employed by St. Vincent Hospital and retired from Elizabeth Scott Care Center. Mary Ann loved camping, Michigan Football and playing cards.

Mary Ann is survived by her sons, James E. Ruble, Timothy R. Ruble and Toby Grove; grandchildren, Mary Jane Ruble and Peter T. Ruble; siblings, Ethel (Bruce) Osgood, Howard (Cindy) Van Gorder and Joyce Moline; and several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Mary Ann was preceded in death by her son, Stephen William Ruble and daughter-in-law, Judy Ruble.

The family will receive guests Wednesday, April 9, 2014 from 2:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. (419-381-1900). Funeral Services will begin Thursday, April 10, 2014 at 11:00 am. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park Cemetery.
