Mary Ann Riley

Mary Ann Riley, age 62, of Toledo, passed away Tuesday, May 1, 2007 in her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born October 7, 1944 to Frank and Margorie (Blue) Lewandowski in Toledo. Mary Ann was a professional hairdresser for more than 20 years. She was also a bus driver for 23 years with Toledo Public Schools. Mary Ann and husband Jesse were members of the Eagle, Maumee Post and St. Jude Parish, Toledo and St. Anthony Parish, Lambertville. Mary Ann traveled with her husband Jesse while he entertained at Bluegrass Festivals throughout the country. She was co-owner of Ervin-Ann Music, BMI Publishing Company. Most importantly, Mary Ann cherished spending time with her family and friends.

In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by grandparents, Mary Ann and Francizak Lewandowski. She is survived by her loving husband of 44 year, Jesse E. Riley; daughters, Kimberly (Timothy) Riley-Brown and Carrie Riley; son, Troy Riley; grandchildren, Olivia Kathleen and Liam Wayne; siblings, Thomas (Marcia) Lewandowski and Barbara (Darrell) Brumfield; aunt, Eva Loebrich; special cousins, Nancy; Steve; Elaine; Michael and Dan Lewandowski; in-laws, Marilyn (Donald) Russell; "Beadie" (Boots) Heileman and Doris Riley.

The family will receive guests Friday from 3-8:00 p.m. in the Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300) with a Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Services will begin Saturday at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Lourdes, 6149 Hill Ave. Officiating will be Fr. Tom Wehinger.
