Mary Ann Ceglio

Mary Ann Ceglio, age 68 passed away Sunday, June 27th, 2010 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Toledo. She was born on August 23rd, 1941 to Wilfred and Ada (Cornelison) Myers in Toledo Ohio. On June 16th, 1962 Mary Ann married Kenneth Ceglio in Toledo. They recently celebrated their 48th anniversary with their children and grandchildren at Hospice in the beautiful Family Room.

Mary Ann was a mother to four, but "Mom" to countless others. She was a nourisher of plants, animals and people. During her years as a cook at the Diner and Terry's Restaurant it was never enough just to cook for you, Mary Ann always came out to see how you liked the food (and likely share a story or two. ). Sometimes it wasn't enough to feed you, anyone who knew Mary Ann also knew that her home was your home. Whether it was for a holiday gathering or if you needed a place to live, you will always remember the few hours, nights, weeks or months that you stayed on, "Clark Street". Whether she helped raise your kids or just raised your spirits, give it up for Mom, Mema, Nan, Grandma, Momma Ceglio, Aunt Mini, Sis and Princess. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

She is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Kenneth Ceglio; children, Polly Ann (Pete) Gerken, Mark Ceglio, Julia Ceglio (Rob Adamski) and Joseph Ceglio; siblings, William (Virginia) Myers, Harry(Angie) Myers, Alice Silcox, Esther Myers, Virginia (Gary) Schondel and Gladys Pounds; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Preceding her in death are her parents.

The family will receive guests Friday from 2-8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin Saturday at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home with Pastor Cheri Holdridge officiating. Interment will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
