Mary A. Thomas, age 68, of Toledo, passed away Monday, April 16, 2012 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on September 26, 1943 to Thomas and Bertha (Malley) McMenemy in Akron. Mary was a registered Dietician in neonatal and geriatrics for many years. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Mary is survived by her loving husband of almost 41 years, Joe Thomas; daughters, Colleen (Ron Davies) Thomas and Maggie Thomas; granddaughter, Catie Davies; and brother, Tom (Patti) McMenemy.
There will be no visitation or services for Mary per her request. Inurnment will take place in New Philadelphia, Ohio. The Newcomer Funeral Home (419-381-1900) assisted the family with professional services.
Those wishing to make monetary donations are asked to consider the Cherry Street Mission.
