Mary A. Neely

Mary, age 56, passed into eternity to be with her loving Savior, Jesus, Tuesday afternoon, May 12th, 2009. She is the daughter of Leslie and Patricia J. (Snell) Messenger. Mary drove cab for B&W for 25 years and gave her all to those she cared for at the Luther Home of Mercy for 12 years. Mary was a loving, caring person who mothered many children whom she did not birth, yet she loved and cared for them like they were her own.

She is survived by her loving mother, Patricia who was the precious joy of Mary's life; 2 brothers, Les (Chris) Messenger; Larry "Spanky" (Pat) Messenger; sister, Rose (Jim)Baldwin; stepchildren, Mike; Deborah and Garry Neely and their families; sister-in-law, Cindy Messenger; many nieces, nephews and a host of dear friends. Mary was preceded in death by her loving husband, Fred E. Neely; father, Leslie L. Messenger and brothers, Gordon and Chuck Messenger.

The family will receive guests Friday from 2-8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
