Martin John Nowak

Martin John Nowak, age 50, beloved husband, father, grandfather, son and brother, passed away on May, 26, 2008 after a long illness. He worked in manufacturing as a shop foreman and owner. Marty was an avid gardener who loved the outdoors. He loved to vacation in the Smoky Mountains and hike trails. Marty enjoyed NASCAR with his family, but most of all he loved spending time with his granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by his father, Frank Nowak. Marty leaves behind his beloved wife, Angie; daughter, Autumn (Carey) Ammons; granddaughter, Sierra Sky Ammons; mother, Emma (Hans) Ersepke; sisters, Fran Nowak, Kathy (Frank) Powalowski and Barb Keller; brother, Chris (Julie) Nowak; and numerous nieces and nephews. He will also be missed by his St. Bernard, Belle.
A Private Service will be held Friday at 1:00 p.m. at the family home, 2432 Murray Dr., Toledo, OH 43613. The Newcomer Funeral Home, (419-473-0300) assisted the family with professional services.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
